		<description>Heh, I&#039;ve long argued that minor upgrades and patching was a PITA and that major upgrades rock.

When in my user/sysadmin role I much prefer rollup packages that supersede previous releases.  It just makes it easier to keep track of and deploy.

Huge case in point... Visual Studio 2005/2008 SP1.   It kills me to have to install visual studio and then spend twice the amount of time to patch it up.

Eitherway, I  don&#039;t use VirtualPC or VirtualServer anymore.  Hyper-V on a standalone Q6600 with 8GB of RAM and 4 SATA-II drives in RAID rocks.

This frees up the resources on my development laptop.  With vista and the remote hyper-mmc snapin and dual monitors this makes a pretty seamless and high performance system without breaking the bank.</description>
