I voted; did you?

Thanks to the State of Washington’s Vote by Mail program, I was able to vote today and therefore feel 100 percent guilt-free about (continuing to) fast-forward through political ads on my Media Center.

My ballot

A $0.42 poll tax is well worth avoiding the road-rage-y SUV drivers at the junior high school that serves as my polling place. King County lets you register as a "permanent absentee" voter and 65 percent of registered voters take advantage of it.

  1. It requires postage?

Every absentee ballot I’ve ever gotten didn’t, that’s part of what the “official election mail” logo is supposed to do!
